Play

Pool play will be 2 games to 25 in 4 team pools. Pool play will be 2 games to 21 in 5 team pools.
Tournament play will be two out of three to 25 and the third to 15 if pool play finishes on time. If pool play runs long do to delays ( playing teams not on time, officiating teams not on time….) then it will be reduced to 21 and 15.
There will be a 10 min. warm up for the first two matches of the day. All other matches will have a 5 min. warm up with shared hitting.
When possible we will send all teams to tournament. Sometimes based on entries the last placed team in pool play will be done after pool play. ( 5 team pools )
Competitions will start at 8:00am sharp. Doors open at 7:00am. We will always have a coaches meeting to go over any tournament changes. Coaches meeting will be held at 7:30 in the room at the north end of the balcony viewing area.
Pools and bracket are attached. Court assignments will be made day of tournament.
Awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd place teams.

Facility

Westwood Sport Center 1900 Westwood Drive, Sterling Il, 61081
NLV Tournaments will be held in building #3 ( the north building ), building 2 and building 1.
All courts are Sport Court surface.
Building 3 has spectator viewing area both at court level and from a balcony. There are 2 ladies and 2 men’s bathrooms.
Westwood charges admission for spectators. Admission will be $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for seniors and children and 5 and under free.
The concession stand will be open and serving breakfast from 7:00am to 10:00am. Lunch will begin at 10:00.

Breakfast Menu: Scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, juices, coffee and Donuts

Lunch Menu: Pork chop, hamburger, brat, hot dog, pizza, and subs

The concession stand will remain open until the tournament has finished.

No food or coolers may be brought into the building.
